• What can you tell us about the new shooter?

Thanks for asking. We’re grateful for your interest. We can confirm that it’s new, and that it’s a shooter. After an overly dramatic 2025, we’ve respawned and rescoped. The game is still on.

• What is the work culture like in Romero Games?

We have a long history of inclusivity, diversity and respect, and this is reflected in our team, our leadership, our culture and benefits, and our development partners. Most of the team have worked together for nearly a decade, and some have worked together for twice that. We genuinely like working with one another, spending time together and sharing ideas and insights from various perspectives.

• Do you offer co-op placement, transition year placement, and internships?

Thanks for asking. At this time, we are not taking TY, co-op or internship placement.

• Do you organize any events or gaming tournaments?

Absolutely! Our yearly deathjam event brings together the best of the best Quake players. The event is a celebration of skill, strategy and retro FPS gaming. Sign up for our newsletter or follow us on social media to be notified of when tickets go up for sale.

• I’ll be in Galway. Can I stop by the studio?

As a game development studio, we’re not really set up for public tours. Most of the stuff we’re working on is under non-disclosure agreements. However, if you want to say a quick hello to someone here, you’re welcome to contact us, and we’ll see what we can do.
